I recently discovered where the the delight of seeing the first snow of the season can be captured on a website. You can make your own snowflakes and add them to the over 8 million that create the backdrop on the home page of SnowDays<\/a>. When you mouse over each arrow, an individually designed snowflake appears with the creator’s name and location. You can respond to them if you like. Email addresses are not visible and kept confidential. You can type in any location to see the multitudes of snowflakes that were created from within that area and even print them out. What’s fascinating is each snowflake is unique, just like the individuals who created them. They are each different but they are all beautiful and this is evident when clicking on them. I’m inspired by all the different designs and by this kind of interactive computer technology.<\/p>\n

Other creative exercises like how to describe yourself in book titles and techniques are discussed here as well, including how to create your own snowflake paper cut-out, just like when you were a kid.
