They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. A little Art FX<\/a> from the previous post in time lapse:<\/p>\n<\/object><\/p>\nThis 12 minute video, Up There<\/em>, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog<\/a> really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl.<\/p>\n<\/object><\/p>\nUP THERE<\/a> from The Ritual Project<\/a> on Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\nFinally this video, Let’s Color the World<\/em>, just made me happy. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl.<\/p>\n<\/object><\/p>\nUP THERE<\/a> from The Ritual Project<\/a> on Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\nFinally this video, Let’s Color the World<\/em>, just made me happy. This 12 minute video, Up There<\/em>, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog<\/a> really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. A little Art FX from the previous post in time lapse: This 12 minute video, Up There, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl. UP THERE from The Ritual Project on Vimeo. A little Art FX from the previous post in time lapse: This 12 minute video, Up There, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. A little Art FX from the previous post in time lapse: This 12 minute video, Up There, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl. UP THERE from The Ritual Project on Vimeo. Consider the music in these posts as part of kick-starting the weekend. A little Art FX from the previous post in time lapse: This 12 minute video, Up There, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl. UP THERE from The Ritual Project on Vimeo. Finally this video, Let’s Color the World, just made me happy. It’s a great time-lapse that even my son would be impressed by (his time-lapse videos can be found via this link). This is a commercial for Dulux paint, but I haven’t seen it here in the States. I just love when I can get a project done quickly. I wish I could work as fast as these folks. Consider the music in these posts as part of kick-starting the weekend. A little Art FX from the previous post in time lapse: This 12 minute video, Up There, that I stumbled upon on Rifle Paper blog really helps to explain the outdoor advertisement muralists’ creative process and hazards on the job. They use the traditional old-master’s method of pouncing out the design to transfer it on the wall. I found it very interesting about the special tool they use to quickly burn the outlines. Although the process is still long, it’s a lot faster than using a pounce wheel, like I used to. I don’t know how they do it. They have to have a lot of patience and stamina and there is no room to back up and see your work while working. This is a dying art for which I have a lot of respect, but also appreciate the convenience of vinyl. UP THERE from The Ritual Project on Vimeo. Finally this video, Let’s Color the World, just made me happy. It’s a great time-lapse that even my son would be impressed by (his time-lapse videos can be found via this link). This is a commercial for Dulux paint, but I haven’t seen it here in the States.
