These are two artistic photos regarding Wall Street printed with the Aftershocks<\/a> story, front page of Outlook<\/em> in the Washington Post<\/em> on Sunday. The first is by Stan Honida\/Getty Images. It really gives the sense of chaos and that whirling, out-of-control, dizzying sensation that the activity on the New York Stock Exchange has had of late.<\/p>\n

I also liked this one below, featured with the article by Eric D. Hovde on blaming the culprits<\/a>. More than what this art is about, I thought it very interesting that this was an innovative way for the public to express their frustration and in doing so, contribute the to process of making public art. This is a portrait by Geoffrey Raymond of Richard S. Fuld, Jr., chief executive of Lehman Brothers.<\/p>\n

It kinda takes that age-old, childish behavior of doodling over something you don’t like and in this case, magnifying it for the adult world. Despite what I think about the financial crisis, I actually think this portrait, in an of itself is very well done.
