I’m too tired to write but trying to stick to my schedule of 3 posts a week. When I first saw this animation by Glen Marshall<\/a> as posted the Wired Blog Network<\/a>, I was mesmerized but became even more intrigued when I learned it all stemmed from his original animated work called “Butterfly.”<\/p>\n

Coincidentally, my new business has a lot to do with butterflies and transformation. I’ve always been fascinated by them by their vivid colors and complete metamorphosis into something free and beautiful. In Art History\/Christian art they are symbolic of the resurrected human soul as seen through the life cycle of the caterpillar forming the chrysalis and then the butterfly emerging, similarly as the soul leaves the body. Life yields transformation of death and the cycle continues.<\/p>\n

At some point we all deal with these life and death issues. I have with my father and now my dear friends. Ironically, this comes at a time when my new business is just starting. Sometimes, the timing of separate cycles just coincidentally intersect and there are natural ups and downs. I believe that things are more than just coincidences, however. I always have. Sometimes we have to go down to get up and I thought Glen Marshall’s personal account was very indicative of this struggle and very inspirational.<\/p>\n

After going through some rough snares in the past couple of weeks regarding my start up, things finally seem like they can start to come together to be rectified, rejuvenated and renewed. I’m starting to see the light at the end of that tunnel and looking forward to finally launching. We’ve got some great people working with us and that supportive team makes all the difference.<\/p>\n
