I finally found the information regarding one of the many artists at the National Harbor.<\/a> Cheryl Foster created the cut glass mural panels, Maryland’s Bounty<\/em>, along the steps that lead down to the Awakening<\/em> sculpture.<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a very inspirational video that I found on Roadtrip Nation<\/a>: Discovering Your Path in Life<\/em>\/webpage. Cheryl Foster describes her inspiration as an artist and how she started out on a different route.<\/p>\n

I really like her work and find her incredibly talented. Although I’m a mural painter, I am most appreciative of how she’s able to translate the mural into cut glass — even using natural objects, such as oyster shells and crab shells embedded into her artwork. You’ll have to see and feel for yourself — go to National Harbor and\/or check out the close up on the Authentic Art Visions blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n
