Here’s a pretty blue post. This installation\/sculpture called Together<\/em> by Susan Meyer<\/a> is based on enclosures, architecture, environments and the social structures in which we live. It reminds me of a beautiful contemporary chandelier — one I’d like to have in my home someday.<\/p>\n

Well, it’s been a week since my husband has been in Poland, attending a Global Warming Conference, therein last post<\/a>… Why do they pick bitter cold places for these things, I don’t know…doesn’t support the philosophy…Anyway, I’m glad he’s returning and now I won’t be so blue. Although, blue is my favorite color. Actually, I’ve been able to get a lot and nothing done. Nothing done for Christmas, but fortunately, we’re keeping it simple as we have for the last three years — giving to charity — which also makes life easier for gift giving. I used to bake all our presents like a Martha Stewart maniac. I don’t know what I was thinking back then with little kids in tow. I became smarter and realized the time is better spent creating memories with family and friends. Time is precious and I’m giving a lot of it to many this year. It’s also the gift that gives in return. Like everyone else, we’re also on a budget, but then again, we’ve known nothing else.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
