You never know how they are going to fall. Here they are painted individually and assembled together by Robin Daning<\/a>, an artist who’s work my mother saw during the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans<\/a>. She has an interesting philosophical take on her work, which demonstrates the tension between maintaining individuality while being part of a group, as displayed here in Brass<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Since her work is about the human condition and sometimes situations beyond one’s control, here’s a funny video — as I have no music to post on this Friday — but this is just inspirational about the power of one butterfly….When a butterfly spreads it’s wings in one place, you know the rest…<\/p>\n

But I did find something that is pretty creative, called Sushi<\/em> by Kyle Andrews. It’s a video made up of 1.4 million picture tiles. It will even recall some old video games for those of us born in the era of Pong and Pac Man….pretty cool and the weekend has started!<\/p>\n
