T. Rowe Price

I have to give kudos to T. Rowe Price for their latest TV commercials using ink and rice. They were both created by JWT New York Agency and the production company is Psyop (shown here, via AdFreakThree’s YouTube postings:

I think these ads are fantastic — very artistic with innovative animation. I am always mesmerized when I see them, almost as an everyday occurrence on TV.

Also check out glossy’s ad blog and their portfolio, including their promotional work for Radiohead in their video, House of Cards. I particularly liked their posting regarding the ad company, Legs and their new website. I was pretty captivated by the continuous, slow-motion affect of bodies randomly appearing across the screen. I lost interest, however, after the backside of one character, who could have been Borat’s’ companion, floated on by.

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
