Photo Stamps

In order to update my client files, I’ve recently sent out a contact mailer with a hard copy of my January Casart eNewsletter to request a review of current information as well as email addresses. When I went to the post office to get stamps, they were out of the regular flag rolls, which I like to get out of convenience sake. Luckily, they had the Tiffany, stained-glass mural stamp, which not only coordinated with the theme but with the colors of the newsletter/mailer.

This got me thinking that perhaps I should consider a custom stamp featuring one of my murals for future mailings. I just found this at PhotoStamps.com. You can purchase a book of twenty stamps for $5 – $10. (They cost about $8 at the post office.) Happily, the software for doing this, I just discovered, is free for Mac users and works effortlessly with iPhoto….Don’t you just love when a little idea turns into a great discovery?!

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
