No, not that one, but I bet Pamela Anderson, the talented abstract artist in Milwaukee, WI, gets that reference all the time. Funny though, I never brought it up when I spoke with her recently. We had a nice conversation and realized that we both had a New Orleans connection. She had lived there a few years back and we both confessed that we missed the food. Magazine Inspiration
I have a good excuse to read interior design magazines. They are where I get a lot of inspiration for decorating, design, color, decorative painting, murals and a whole host of other ideas. Here are just a few that I use. My favorites are Veranda, Southern Accents and House and Garden, which sadly has ceased publication. I often clip pages from these and file in various idea books that I show clients. This helps inspire them too and solidify concepts for projects.
