Innovation is a big component of art to me. It’s what makes an impact and I thought this kitchen design was very innovative, retro but simultaneously modern and new. Evidently so did the author. Katherine Salant of Housewatch in the Washington Post describes Johnny Grey’s kitchen design as “the most remarkable kitchen [she has] ever encountered.” I think the curvilinear design and the mixture of woods is very creative and makes a bright, cheerful and welcoming environment, as well as a practical work space.
