Design in Melbourne
I ran across this blog a while back called The Design Files. I was struck by one of the American artists who she profiled, Chelsea James. She had first been seen on Design Sponge. Her work is wonderful. I find it a bit mysterious with masterful execution. Just look at how real this plastic bag looks.
I really enjoy her painting series on shoes.
She has a real talent for drawing. Here’s just one of her sketches.

Another plus about this blog is that it is choc full of interior design, murals and other related subjects that I find compelling and tend to write about here on this blog.
Murals in Arnhem, Holland are featured during their month long Mode Biennale. Check the site for details. I was happy to learn of this event.
One more design blog that I like coming out of Australia, Designalogue. There have been some very interesting posts and the blogger is an interior designer and loves design magazines. I can relate to getting inspiration from these too (two).
