Events for the second annual FotoWeek DC Competition are taking place this week through November 14th. It should be interesting. I hope I get to view a few exhibits. The photography by amateurs and professionals, from 3500 entries, Some of those amateurs may well be on a professional track afterwards. There’s also a Youth Contest. I told my younger son about it. I’m not sure he entered.
On another note, today is a celebration for my mother’s birthday but also happens to be the anniversary of a good friend’s passing. Life is full of paradox.
