Falling Water in the Fall

I was able to get away for a little respite with my mother at a wonderful Arts and Craft Style Bed & Breakfast called Lake Pointe Inn in McHenry, Maryland. It happens to be right across the road from Wisp Ski Resort. Good to know if I ever go back to ski. It was snowing flurries while we were there. We were able to take a drive to Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpiece, Falling Water to tour the grounds.

A restful spot to enjoy the setting sun during a winter cocktail when we returned.

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
