Mural Meals on Wheels

Seeing this notice, I just had to post after my last garbage truck, Trash to Treasure post. Philly is up to it again with their murals. Although, these are not nearly as substantial as the fabulous ones you see on buildings there, they are fun to look at on lunch meal trucks. They also help to get people’s attention, so a good marketing tactic.

This video is a little freaky to watch and it doesn’t have anything to do with mural lunch trucks, for which I had a hard time finding music — except for the band’s title, Spoon, playing the song Don’t You Evah. In a weird way it kinda reminds me of the 80’s music we had fun dancing to at the Black Cat last weekend with our friend. Shout out to Liza, so glad to see you having fun; you so deserve it — made my year! We nearly danced three hours straight — what a fun workout for us old folks — maybe the 20 year olds were impressed (or embarrassed)? We weren’t!

If you can find anything musically better related to the above post, let me know for Kick-Starting your Weekend.

And for the weekend….I’m not a football fan but GO SAINTS!!

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
