Change is in the Air

Summer has flown and fall is officially here. Change is in the air.

Here’s a quick collection of visuals that I’ve saved that seem appropriate to post to reflect this changing time.

The trees will be changing soon.

This image of a painted forest canopy under the overpass caught my attention as a positive approach to urban freeway sprawl, suggested by artists in Sacramento, CA.

When I think of fall, this next image of a real forest and majestic owl overlooking just captures the mood.

I also like the clever angle.

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
