    I enjoyed reading Stephanie Cavanaugh’s mural articles in the Washington Post over last weekend. I had always wanted to know more about the famous Chagall mosaic/mural that he created as a thank you to his hosts, Evelyn Nef and her husband. I had seen it from a distance when some Georgetown clients pointed it out to me about 11 years ago. I had heard it was privately owned but I never knew how it was produced.     Art Hotels

    You may have visions of summer vacation on your mind and if you’re in the process of planning, any of these art hotels would be worth visiting for art’s sake. They look like they have really incorporated murals as part of their decor. You can also see the mentions I made earlier in the Light Show entry and recently in Serendipty 3 day blitz.     New Orleans Murals

    Being an artistic city, there are many public murals in New Orleans, however, here are just a few to highlight. I was unaware of these, having never been to Ralph’s on the Park until recently (view up close versions if you take the virtual tour on this link).
