    Shazam! Snow, Snow & More Snow

    Shazam! The Saints won the Superbowl!…I’m still in shock! And Wow what a snow storm we had over the weekend, over two feet and another storm is on the way this Tuesday. This might hamper the meeting I’m hosting for my entrepreneurial women’s group. I’ve ordered my King Cakes but I’m not sure they’ll be able to get here or if the ladies can with already impassable, unplowed streets.     Icebergs

    Before I begin this post, I just have to say there was nothing cold about the Saints winning yesterday’s NFL championship. It was a tense, heated game and I’m not even a football fan but this is my hometown team and after all New Orleans has been through, the team, the city, and the people deserve it! Superbowl, here we come…..! Nature’s Art. These Icebergs are really beautiful and awe inspiring in that they are not man-made.     Blizzard

    The blizzard of 2009 took us by surprise — before winter even officially began. Here’s a follow up to my previous Christmas post with pictures with all the snow, and what to do with it. And my older son, Piers, with his college-age buddies built a snow monster to rival the neighbor’s snowman across the street. Nice to know they’re not too old for this.
