Creating Computer Snowflakes
I recently discovered where the the delight of seeing the first snow of the season can be captured on a website. You can make your own snowflakes and add them to the over 8 million that create the backdrop on the home page of SnowDays. When you mouse over each arrow, an individually designed snowflake appears with the creator’s name and location. You can respond to them if you like. Email addresses are not visible and kept confidential. You can type in any location to see the multitudes of snowflakes that were created from within that area and even print them out. Happy Columbus Day! It’s a work day for me and a lot of people. but I can at least think of non-work…. I’m gonna get this Brushes iPhone App for my iPod touch. I can’t promise my art will be as good but what a great way to practice.
