Making a Grand Entrance
I've been wanting to post this photo of Olafur Eliasson's latest work and although I've been enjoying it, it's finally time to move it from my desktop to this space. Take Your Time is meant to literally bring the viewer or as Eliasson says, "the user," into the creative, interactive experience. It was on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney Australia. The premise of Eliasson's work is to involve the user — beyond just gaining admiration for the piece and the artist' ability — but that goes without saying here. Waterfall Art
I have posted about Olafur Eliasson before but had this song about waterfalls in my head (below) so wanted to link to it and tie in with my previous post on Falling Water. The New Your City Waterfalls are something to see if were in New York City this fall. The exhibition ended however on October 13th. I would have loved to have seen the height on this one in person. I just missed during my latest trip to NYC.
