Memory Points
There is an art to making and leaving a lasting impression, particularly in this real estate market, when it’s the impression that could make or break the deal. This was an interesting article giving tips to buyers and sellers in the Real Estate section of The Washington Post, Lessons in Seduction by Elizabeth Razzi. Memory points, those things that leave a lasting impression when viewing a house, are the things that can pull prospective buyers back. It’s a balance to depersonalize the property from the current owner, yet leave a memory that makes the place stand out with personality and works like seduction. This can be done by setting the stage with romantic notions, fake food, spa-like accessories, perfect Pottery-Barn-catalogue spreads and even painting rooms different colors. Here’s where I thought casart coverings would be a model solution by using it to create an accent wall or in this case, a stylized headboard for a princess could be produced. We have some headboards in our new designs that we’ll unveil this spring. Happy first day of spring, by the way, finally!
Here’s where we’ve been mentioned in the blogosphere lately to show how casart coverings can satisfy decor needs. Many thanks to these blogs:
Talking about leaving a lasting impression, we hope to do so at the upcoming Home & Garden Show in New Orleans, March 26 – 29th. We’ll be in booth 567 across from the mock interior designer rooms. Our lime colored, faux-padded harlequin and new, carnation photo casart™ will be featured in the Hot Lounge. I’m heading down to New Orleans tomorrow to prepare our booth and panels. Since this is our first trade show, we will be busy 9am – 9pm each day for four days. We hope to see you there.
