Flashes of Jerusalem History

With Israel in the news these days, I remembered seeing this article and thought it might be interesting to repost, although the exhibit is currently on hiatus. Click on the picture for the link.

I came across this video that I thought it was very clever and even manages to find humor in the latest serious event. It certainly makes you think about what you’re not seeing on TV. There’s even a Bob Dylan sound alike. Not sure who the other pseudo celebrities might be but one looks like George Michael to me.

Coincidentally, I discovered this interesting article, The City and the Dogs: A Psychedelic Tour through Jerusalem’s More Peculiar Districts A Special Report by Yizhar Be’er, originally posted on the Huffington Post but reposted by Marcello Dicintio on his travel blog, Elsewhere. His header photo is wonderful.

I'm an artist, wife and mother of two boys. I started my illustration business, The Occasional Palette over 35 years ago, when my oldest son was an infant. Once my children were in school, I began painting decorative, faux finishes and murals through my second business, Casart, now over 30 years old. My third business, Casart Coverings, is a springboard from my second.
