I’m too tired to write but trying to stick to my schedule of 3 posts a week. When I first saw this animation by Glen Marshall as posted the Wired Blog Network, I was mesmerized but became even more intrigued when I learned it all stemmed from his original animated work called “Butterfly.” Music Is Math from Glenn Marshall on Vimeo. Beautification
I am so pressed for time that I don’t have time to write anything for today, so I’ll post an article that Marty DeVine wrote for the Alexandria Times, regarding the Beautification Awards given by the City of Alexandria, VA this past Wednesday evening. My neighborhood school, Jefferson Houston, where I painted a 50 foot long mural on multiple panels, received the only public school award for beautification. Village Murals, Podcasts & Pushing Daisies
This is a follow up to my Mysterious Eyes post. I just stumbled upon this image via Visual Culture and I thought it was pretty cool. The original photo credit goes to JR Art Photography. I haven’t been to Rio favela of Providencia in Rio De Janeiro but there appears to be a lot of Googly eyes there.
