    Target’s Creativity

    I’ve long been a fan of Target’s advertisements. I think they are smart, clever and out of the box. When I saw this one near Times Square while in New York last week, I thought the same. This ad seems to capitalize on the “street art,” graffiti-style craze in advertising. Although I don’t particularly like this style of art, I appreciate how Target has used the stylistic design to make their logo visually stand out from the other graphics. In fact their advertising stands out among other chains and brands them as being innovative. Others have tried to copy their creative style because it is so cool and different but…

    Being Connected

    Being connected to others strengthens your energy and creativity to produce art. 9-11 is a hallowed day to remember that the connections to others are vital….Let’s not forget. Here’s a quote I like: “Contrary to how we’ve been taught to value independence and autonomy, this new scientific evidence is showing that we are at our best when we are connected with others.     Without a post prepared in advance and having just returned from traveling, here are two quick business related items to mention that pertain to art: Innovation and Brainstorming.
