Magical Sketches
Going back to my Monday post where I mention casart coverings is using styleboards to show our designs in interactive interior layouts, this post is about the ultimate “storyboard.” There is advancing technology that takes your sketches and translates them into actual pictures comprised of photo composites taken from the Internet. The software was originally called PhotoSketch and then changed to Sketch2Photo to avoid conflict with another product’s similar name. The authors are Chinese students from Tsinghua University and the National University of Singapore. What to Wear
As a follow up to my art dress, graffiti and the invisible artist posts, here are more examples of what to wear — artistically that is: Chor Boogi not only paints murals, he paints lovely ladies. Evidently Lui Bolin wasn’t the first artist to make himself invisible. I found this on an interesting blog, Butterfly by Day, plus I like the name. Christmas Creche
The nativity scene is a way to visually recall the Christmas story and why we celebrate Christmas afterall. I thought this one was unusually interesting in that it is carved out of one piece of wood. Clicking on this link gives you a little history behind the Nativity scene. This was another interesting Old World Style one: We usually put one up every year and like its meaningful message lends simple pleasure to our Christmas decor.
