    Normally I find music to go along with my posts for the end of the week. This time, I re-discovered the music before the artwork through my son’s Facebook thread, who knew….. I just ran across this song, Kiss Them for Me by Siouxi and the Banshees. I loved in the 80’s and that still hasn’t changed. I forgot what a fun song this was, especially to Kick Start the weekend.     Summer into Fall

    Before I begin this post there are two important announcements: 1) There are just 5 more days to vote for DC’s best undiscovered artist in the Washington Post’s contest, Real Art D.C. — until Oct, 22nd. Vote here. 2) I’ll be posting two posts a week instead of three, at least temporarily — until I can get some help. I’m having to devote more of my time to Casart coverings.     Mansion at O

    I am finding all sorts of weirdly familiar and reminiscent things in my local newspaper this week. How strange it is to have these offshoot connections. There was an article about The Mansion on O in The Post, O, So Weird and Wonderful, but Zofia Smardz in the travel section. I could travel 20 minutes across town to be there. The odd thing for me is I have been wanting to go here for quite some time — ever since a client of mine was planning her wedding reception at this location back in the 90’s.
