Mural Meals on Wheels
Seeing this notice, I just had to post after my last garbage truck, Trash to Treasure post. Philly is up to it again with their murals. Although, these are not nearly as substantial as the fabulous ones you see on buildings there, they are fun to look at on lunch meal trucks. Art of the Cocktail
Happy New Year! In light of celebrating, I view the perfect cocktail as art, especially one with pure ingredients, made “from scratch,” as we’d say in baking. Not many people, however, go to such extremes to make their own mixers like tonic water, but Todd Thrasher of Restaurant Eve and PX speakeasy (down the street from me), makes sure to take these measures. My husband’s and my favorite cocktail is called The Last Word. Artichoke Arrangement
Some things only appear to be coincidental when, I believe, they are not. It’s been a year since my good friend’s husband, Nathaniel, has passed away. This happens to be on my mother’s birthday. She happened to write a wonderful blog post on Artichokes last Friday on our Slipcovers for Your Walls blog. Artichokes happened to be some of Nathaniel’s favorite foods.
