Trick Photography?
These photos seem appropriate after the last post regarding trompe l’oeil painting. These might be what you could call, trompe l’oeil trick photography. These came to me in an email that is circulating so unfortunately, I do not have photo credits except for Interesno.dn.ua. (Russia I think.) Most express a good sense of humor — especially for the end of a hard business week. Love Letters in New Orleans
This is a near perfect post in fitting the criteria that Art is Everywhere. Photographer Ted Jackson found ways to say his ABC’s with alphabetical art. His photographic Love Letters of everyday things in New Orleans are pretty clever, as is even the title. Take the test to see how many you can guess correctly for what each letter represents. Art in Bloom
I’m always inspired by artists who brave the crowds to create their artwork. It’s something that I do not like to do, but this “plein air,” landscape artist, Michela Mansuino, featured last week in the Washington Post, has managed to not only control her experience with multitudes of onlookers but capture the magic of the cherry blossoms in her paintings. She’s been painting at the same spot for four years. The cherry blossoms are nearly gone now, but the moment they existed is immortalized in this painting.
