    Antenna?

    July 9, 2010 /

There is an art to designing an antenna — when it must function as well as be aesthetically appealing. Unfortunately, Apple’s design team neglected the function over form. Apparently, the antenna of the new iPhone 4, which has sold over 1.7 million units, has problems with reception due to the antenna design. Because it wraps around the device in order to be unobtrusive, it requires the correct hand hold to make the connection. So, if you’re left handed, sorry. I love my iPod Touch but I’ve been holding out for so long for Apple to get the many kinks out of their iPhones and this antenna problem is just one…

Not as elaborate as other ice sculpture posts that I’ve written about, and although a bit cheesy, it could be fun. National Harbor is, however, pretty dramatic, as I’ve been there a couple of times but not in the bitter cold months (previous posts). With my older boys…

    Waves

    July 31, 2009 /

We’re getting ready to head to the beach. I’ll be taking work along, unfortunately, as I had a hard drive crash and have to reformat all our new images for casart coverings, coming out this fall. Fortunately I’m almost done. Hey, I’m wondering if anyone else out there got the Shankar, Happy Birthday virus timed to go off on July 25th — his birthday? It’s an old one but attached itself to my Word documents on my Mac and they became corrupted when I got an infected virus from my former marketing folks’ attachments. Fortunately, I have a Mac so even though it was a pain, it was easily fixed.…
