New Orleans & Nine Lives
I just finished reading a fascinating book that I couldn’t put down, Nine Lives by Dan Baum. It was my choice and I hosted my book group last week to discuss it. The book reads like fiction but it is real life. C’est ci bon
As I mentioned I’m back from New Orleans and feeling a little homesick but trying to gear up for a lot of work ahead. My mother emailed me this video and since it’s Friday, it’s perfect to Kick Start the Weekend with it. It’s true what she has to say. “If you are from Louisiana it will make you proud. If you are from Louisiana but live elsewhere it will make you homesick. If you’ve visited here before it will make you want to return. If you’ve never been here, you’ll conclude you should visit.” — Lorre Lei Jackson
