Neville Brothers & Fireworks
We saw the Neville Brothers in concert at the Birchmere with our sons and some friends. They were excellent as always and made me feel like I was back home in New Orleans listening to their famous songs: Yellow Moon, Iko Iko, Fire on the Bayou, Party at Tipitinas and a few renditions of old classics that Aaron Neville has made his own like, Tell It Like it Is and Sitting Here in Limbo and Amazing Grace. Feeling Friday the 13th
Typically this day has been very unlucky for me in the past but I’m trying to shake that spell. Car Glass & Cards
Well, inevitably with boys, accidents will happen. Our older son was weed whacking our swath of city grass and just as I was telling him to watch out for my car, POP, a rock hit the passenger front window. Yep, it’s a bit of a hassle, considering I couldn’t drive with a big, black bag blocking my side view and since we’ve had it replaced yesterday, it has to be replaced again because the window regulators (plastic holders) cracked fully after the installation.
