I’ve been watching this silly TV series called Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles and the humanoid, female machine that the main characters have befriended (actually she was sent from the future to help them), lacks emotion and other human-like qualities like a soul, but looks human and in fact, exemplifies human perfection on the outside. I wasn’t going to even write this post because it didn’t seem significant–until I saw another interesting TV surprise. I was watching the last bit of the Academy Awards (it went on longer than I thought, as usual) and I was taken with the new American Express Ad featuring Diane Von Furstenberg. Although she’s not necessarily one of my favorite fashion designers, I was intrigued with the content of the 30 second spot. It was all about what I’m discussing here–the process of creating art. Stamps
In order to update my client files, I’ve recently sent out a contact mailer with a hard copy of my January Casart eNewsletter to request a review of current information as well as email addresses. When I went to the post office to get stamps, they were out of the regular flag rolls, which I like to get out of convenience sake. Luckily, they had the Tiffany, stained-glass mural stamp, which not only coordinated with the theme but with the colors of the newsletter/mailer.
