Pamela Anderson
No, not that one, but I bet Pamela Anderson, the talented abstract artist in Milwaukee, WI, gets that reference all the time. Funny though, I never brought it up when I spoke with her recently. We had a nice conversation and realized that we both had a New Orleans connection. She had lived there a few years back and we both confessed that we missed the food. My Favorite Things
Not mine — but my very talented, and good and fun artist friend, Patsie Uchello and fellow native New Orleanian. My son Jackson, Peter and I recently attended an exhibit/ gallery opening of her work in her exhibit, My Favorite Things, at the Art Square in Leesburg, VA last Friday. This was the inaugural opening of the gallery as well. It’s similar to the Torpedo Factory / Art League here in Alexandria, VA. Patsie shows her work here as well and takes ongoing classes. Car Storage
When I saw this picture in the front section of the Post, I thought it was from a Science Fiction movie. It reminded me of the movie Brazil. It is a Volkswagon storage tower in Wolfsburg, Germany. What a fantastic design, not to mention the photographic perspective. Who knew something like this existed? I love learning about something new when I do these postings.
