Post-it Note Murals
After posting on David Guinn’s digital murals that we saw in Philadelphia, I thought about these Post-it Note Murals, also made up of colored square components. They remind me of a modern Seurat. I like their colors and how clever they are. All photos are from Buzzfeed. Sorry for the late post, btw. Monday seemed to come and go unnoticed while I’m working on a deadline. Because I’m operating a day behind, I’ll post Thursday’s post on Friday and we should be back up to speed next week.
Philadelphia Photos
While walking around Philadelphia we took a few photos worth posting and some of these are from our hotel, Hyatt at The Bellevue at 200 Broad Street. It is an historic building with Old World Charm with a mix of modern interior details. Our hotel was wonderful and we just had to get dinner at their Nineteen Restaurant before touring. Here’s our view in the dining room. We sat right in front of this large window with a view overlooking the city. The food was exceptional and I’d highly recommend it. Philadelphia and Murals 1
Part of our Christmas family gift was to take a trip to Philadelphia to see The Barnes Collection. While there I had hoped to take a tour of Philly’s incredible murals. I have been saving so many links regarding Philadelphia’s murals that this now seems the time to post them in reference to this trip. Although we didn’t see as many of the murals as I wanted to see, we covered about eight, right around our spectacular Hyatt hotel on Broad Street during a night walking tour after a late arrival and a delicious meal at XIX (Nineteen Restaurant), on the 19th floor with an incredible view overlooking the city.…
