    Icebergs

    January 25, 2010 /

Before I begin this post, I just have to say there was nothing cold about the Saints winning yesterday’s NFL championship. It was a tense, heated game and I’m not even a football fan but this is my hometown team and after all New Orleans has been through, the team, the city, and the people deserve it! Superbowl, here we come…..! Nature’s Art. These Icebergs are really beautiful and awe inspiring in that they are not man-made. Be sure to click on the video link below to see what you may find in the water…. (Text and photos uncredited from a circulated email) STRIPED ICEBERGS Icebergs in the Antarctic area…

They also help to get people’s attention, so a good marketing tactic. More pics and info about this Mural Arts Program can be found on the Meal Ticket post by Drew Lazor. This video is a little freaky to watch and it doesn’t have anything to do with mural lunch trucks, for which I had a hard time…

    Trash to Treasure

    January 20, 2010 /

The inspiration for this Trash to Treasure post came by way of email and I wish there was a credit, as the pictures are fabulous! The original email mentioned that the origami artist, Won Park, who I wrote about in my last post, was supposed to also live in this truck. He does not.  This truck is more a demonstration of design genius rather than art, but again, design and art are related. You would never think this vehicle is any more than just a typical, everyday trash truck from the outside, but what a treasure on the inside. I thought it was perfect to post because I’m sorting through…
