Waterfall Art
I have posted about Olafur Eliasson before but had this song about waterfalls in my head (below) so wanted to link to it and tie in with my previous post on Falling Water. The New Your City Waterfalls are something to see if were in New York City this fall. The exhibition ended however on October 13th. I would have loved to have seen the height on this one in person. The big fall unveilling
It’s the first full week of October. Where did September go? I think the days came and went without much notice, due to many all-nighters trying to unveil our new line of products. We’ll we’ve done it. We will be sending out our updated eNewsletter regarding our latest news. We also sent out our press release last month and had many interested responses and we were featured in the Times Picayune’s InsideOut Edition about wallpaper. Coincidentally, another article ran in the same issue regarding “Personal Space” in which my mother had sent in her bedroom renovation as an example of how to personalize a space after my father passed away…
Empire State Building
Look up! The ceiling murals of the Empire State Building’s Lobby are being restored. Bill Mensching and Jeff Greene of EverGreene Architectural Arts are at it again. I first read about their work when I discovered who was doing the mural restoration at the US Capitol. This company is inspirational — a decorative finisher’s dream job, especially one like me who loves art history and restoration. Afterall, I was headed down that museum track of exhibition design long before life chose a different path.
