    Christmas Cards

    Lately, there has been a lot of news about how traditional Christmas cards are going by the wayside due to the convenience and affordability of sending them to your address book via email or even Facebook.. We tried to send Christmas cards once, when our kids were wee tots and it just added to the holiday stress, so I’m not a big advocate of sending Christmas cards in general. Of course, we love receiving them and I respond to everyone but just cannot take it on myself.     Artistic Dresses

    Looking for a one of a kind holiday dress? Although I was unfamiliar with the Weisser Glass Studio and Gallery in Kensington, MD I’m glad I know about it now. Wow, how incredible is this, Autumn Sunset Kimono by Marko & Norris?! It’s made of woven glass. Amazing.     I read through a lot of blog entries as a many others who surf the Internet but it’s not everyday that you’re awakened by something so different that ignites every sense as Luke Jerram’s artwork does. He is fascinated with perceptual art and has gone to great pains to explore how art can be perceived on different levels. I first learned about his work on Abduzeedo, a very cool blog in itself.
