    Mural Meals on Wheels

    Seeing this notice, I just had to post after my last garbage truck, Trash to Treasure post. Philly is up to it again with their murals. Although, these are not nearly as substantial as the fabulous ones you see on buildings there, they are fun to look at on lunch meal trucks. They also help to get people’s attention, so a good marketing tactic. More pics and info about this Mural Arts Program can be found on the Meal Ticket post by Drew Lazor.     Trash to Treasure

    The inspiration for this Trash to Treasure post came by way of email and I wish there was a credit, as the pictures are fabulous! The original email mentioned that the origami artist, Won Park, who I wrote about in my last post, was supposed to also live in this truck. He does not.  This truck is more a demonstration of design genius rather than art, but again, design and art are related. You would never think this vehicle is any more than just a typical, everyday trash truck from the outside, but what a treasure on the inside.     HDR Photography

    I didn’t know much about High Dynamic Range type of photography and was glad to learn through the picture links below. The surrealistic, hyper saturation of color may not be for everyone but I’m pretty fascinated how a photo can look more like an illustration with this method.
