Before I begin this post, I just have to say there was nothing cold about the Saints winning yesterday’s NFL championship. It was a tense, heated game and I’m not even a football fan but this is my hometown team and after all New Orleans has been through, the team, the city, and the people deserve it! Getting More with Your Money
These incredible origami images came to me through an email. They were originally created by Master Origami Artist, Won Park. He has made all of these from folding mostly one and in some cases two dollar bills (where noted). Origami is the ancient art of Japanese paper folding to create a representational image by folding a sheet of paper, without gluing, cutting or pasting. Christmas Creche
The nativity scene is a way to visually recall the Christmas story and why we celebrate Christmas afterall. I thought this one was unusually interesting in that it is carved out of one piece of wood. Clicking on this link gives you a little history behind the Nativity scene. This was another interesting Old World Style one: We usually put one up every year and like its meaningful message lends simple pleasure to our Christmas decor.
