The big fall unveilling
It’s the first full week of October. Where did September go? I think the days came and went without much notice, due to many all-nighters trying to unveil our new line of products. We’ll we’ve done it. We will be sending out our updated eNewsletter regarding our latest news. We also sent out our press release last month and had many interested responses and we were featured in the Times Picayune’s InsideOut Edition about wallpaper. Coincidentally, another article ran in the same issue regarding “Personal Space” in which my mother had sent in her bedroom renovation as an example of how to personalize a space after my father passed away…

Art4Others…Art with Heart
In 2006 I was involved with a group of talented decorative artists and artisans who gave freely of their time to transform a house, under the guide of Adrienne VanDooren, who founded the concept for The House That Faux Built. It was a big success, the first of its kind and a wonderful coffee table type book was produced. All the proceeds went to funding the building of a home through Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans. Finally, the house has been fully funded and the construction has begun. Now artist can give back another way, by becoming involved in the onsite project and hosting events in their own hometown…
C’est ci bon
As I mentioned I’m back from New Orleans and feeling a little homesick but trying to gear up for a lot of work ahead. My mother emailed me this video and since it’s Friday, it’s perfect to Kick Start the Weekend with it. It’s true what she has to say. “If you are from Louisiana it will make you proud. If you are from Louisiana but live elsewhere it will make you homesick. If you’ve visited here before it will make you want to return. If you’ve never been here, you’ll conclude you should visit.” — Lorre Lei Jackson
