Although the movie, The Fall, is not as visually stunning as Hero (one of my favorites), the heightened dream set imagery adds to this delightful and eerie tale. Lee Pace, from Pushing Daisies, portrays Roy, the stuntman who is recovering in a 1920’s California hospital after a “bad” suicidal fall. He’s depressed over his lost love’s affections for the leading actor during the shooting of his cowboy movie. Car Glass & Cards
Well, inevitably with boys, accidents will happen. Our older son was weed whacking our swath of city grass and just as I was telling him to watch out for my car, POP, a rock hit the passenger front window. Yep, it’s a bit of a hassle, considering I couldn’t drive with a big, black bag blocking my side view and since we’ve had it replaced yesterday, it has to be replaced again because the window regulators (plastic holders) cracked fully after the installation. Sewanee Scenes
Sewanee, TN is picturesque and in many ways Arcadia. Being the birthplace to The University of the South, where my husband and I attended college and the location for St. Andrews-Sewanee School, where our son attends. We have more excuses to return to our alma mater now. With good friends and family and recollections of our history there, we always feel like we’re going home. We soak up the serenity and are always sad to leave but feel the call back to the activity of the city. Just when we’re feeling the pressures of work and city congestion stifling us, we’ll be back in Sewanee. This symbiotic relationship serves as…
