Philadelphia and Murals 1
Part of our Christmas family gift was to take a trip to Philadelphia to see The Barnes Collection. While there I had hoped to take a tour of Philly’s incredible murals. I have been saving so many links regarding Philadelphia’s murals that this now seems the time to post them in reference to this trip. Although we didn’t see as many of the murals as I wanted to see, we covered about eight, right around our spectacular Hyatt hotel on Broad Street during a night walking tour after a late arrival and a delicious meal at XIX (Nineteen Restaurant), on the 19th floor with an incredible view overlooking the city.…

Janet Shearer
I’ve been a fan ever since I first saw Janet Shearer’s work nearly 17 years ago and have been following her inspirational work. I found a couple of sites a while ago and have also mentioned her work in a previous Christmas post just last year. Bacardi Mural & Being Back on the Mountain
I’ve just returned recently from a Homecoming Reunion at my university and it was so much fun visiting with everyone again. For some, it had been 25 years since we had seen each other. Although we’re older (and wiser, I hope), I’m happy to know that we still can enjoy a good time with a few drinks and dancing.
