    I’ve been a fan ever since I first saw Janet Shearer’s work nearly 17 years ago and have been following her inspirational work. I found a couple of sites a while ago and have also mentioned her work in a previous Christmas post just last year.  Since it’s getting that time of year again, hard to believe, and the dreary winter months are ahead, I think it’s timely to post a few that I think really stand out.     Gathering Murals in Canada

    When I saw this mural, I thought of the quintessential Medieval Royal Feast as depicted along with Medieval castle scenes on the exterior of Hotel Bourbon — not the liquor as in the last Mural Monday post.  Although this mural is located in Montreal, Canada, it has a festive feel that reminds me of  gatherings this past American Thanksgiving — a little mayhem, a little madness and a lot of ritual.
