…to Monday’s post about Snow, Snow and more Snow, here are a few pictures that my Venetian cousins sent of Venice sadly under water but beautiful with a dusting of snow. Walt Disney at NOMA
With the Saints in the news and now going to the Superbowl, all posts this week will just have to be about New Orleans in some way or another. Hey, not hard for me (previous posts on New Orleans). The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) is featuring an exhibit of conceptual art from Walt Disney’s animated films called,“Dreams Come True: Art of the Classic Fairy Tales from the Walt Disney Studio.” It includes 600 sketches and animation stills from select films dating back more than seven decades. Mural Meals on Wheels
Seeing this notice, I just had to post after my last garbage truck, Trash to Treasure post. Philly is up to it again with their murals. Although, these are not nearly as substantial as the fabulous ones you see on buildings there, they are fun to look at on lunch meal trucks. They also help to get people’s attention, so a good marketing tactic. More pics and info about this Mural Arts Program can be found on the Meal Ticket post by Drew Lazor.
