    Berlin Wall Murals

    This is a week late of the 20 year fall of the Berlin Wall Anniversary but still worthy of a look. Many artists helped to refurbish the murals just in time for the anniversary.     Normally, I wouldn’t start off the week with a post about cocktails but this is a hectic one with back to back on site work and printings for casart coverings. Life has been so crazy busy that I never really fully posted about the fun stuff during my recent trip to New Orleans.     Empire State Building

    Look up! The ceiling murals of the Empire State Building’s Lobby are being restored. Bill Mensching and Jeff Greene of EverGreene Architectural Arts are at it again. I first read about their work when I discovered who was doing the mural restoration at the US Capitol. This company is inspirational — a decorative finisher’s dream job, especially one like me who loves art history and restoration. Afterall, I was headed down that museum track of exhibition design long before life chose a different path.
