Berlin Wall Murals
This is a week late of the 20 year fall of the Berlin Wall Anniversary but still worthy of a look. Many artists helped to refurbish the murals just in time for the anniversary. Le Loup
I learned of Le Loup recently and can now recommend them for Kick-Starting-Your Weekend. On their new album, Family, I enjoyed Beach Town the best: Here’s a profile of the band that started in 2006 in Washington, DC, by Moira E. McLaughlin in the Washington Post. Loup means wolf in French and their sound is reminiscent of Radiohead in a non-typical, discordant way. Their music also reminds me of Theresa Andersson in it’s chamber-like acoustics. By the way. Hope you’re not superstitious about Friday the 13th, as I am, which was coincidentally when I first wrote about Theresa Andersson.

Artichoke Arrangement
Some things only appear to be coincidental when, I believe, they are not. It’s been a year since my good friend’s husband, Nathaniel, has passed away. This happens to be on my mother’s birthday. She happened to write a wonderful blog post on Artichokes last Friday on our Slipcovers for Your Walls blog. Artichokes happened to be some of Nathaniel’s favorite foods.
